Fights
My brooches are memories shaped in material – condensed fragments of dialogues, questions, and encounters.
Each piece begins with a drawing. In its transformation into three dimensions, movements condense into a struggle – captured in the form of a heart: fists fly, arms and legs intertwine, there is hitting, kicking, grappling. Yet in the midst of this turmoil, hands appear, perhaps a wing – a quiet trace of hope.
Between force and movement, forms emerge that adorn while also holding on to something. They are attempts to give form to the intangible.
Excited to share that some of my new pieces are now available through Galerie beyond
